Stallion Steed of old It has no name Or so I'm told Galloping Through the night With a foaming mouth And blood red eyes Stallion Carry me Through the forest And across the sea I will fade While still it rides With thundering hooves This beast of life Stallion Heart of fire From the endless deep And a lost desire Forward now Into dawn To a new days light And a new birds song

What is this drug Is it something dangerous Or is it just a dream that wrings and writhes A sea of dark A lovers light What is this drug Is it someone dangerous Or is it just a stare that stole my pride The gathering mist His fading light What is this drug Please god tell me that it's love And not just another lovers fading light Cause my heart is too weak To feed another pair of hungry arms And my hope is too faint To light a path through the dark

about

The past year has been a period of experimentation for me and my compositions. This process has taken me through a bunch of different styles and concepts that don't necessarily have a single purpose or core. But I decided to record and release a few of these songs anyway, just as a sort of musical collage. Having said that, I present "Portraits".
